This painting and texture project covered a spacious 4BHK apartment in Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad. The family had been living in the flat for 8 years and wanted a complete refresh that went beyond a simple repaint.
We started with a detailed colour consultation at their home, presenting physical colour swatches and digital mock-ups to help the family visualize how different palettes would look in their specific lighting conditions. After two consultation sessions, we finalized a warm, sophisticated scheme.
The living room features Asian Paints Royale Play Stucco texture on the TV wall in a warm terracotta shade, creating a rich, tactile surface that adds depth to the room. The remaining walls are in a complementary warm ivory using Royale Matt Luxury emulsion.
The master bedroom accent wall uses a metallic finish in champagne gold from the Royale Play Special Effects range. Under the bedroom's cove lighting, the metallic particles catch the light beautifully, creating a subtle shimmer that feels luxurious without being flashy.
The kids room received a cheerful treatment with one wall in soft sky blue and a hand-painted geometric pattern in grey and white on the study wall area. The remaining walls are in a clean white to keep the room feeling bright and spacious.
All four bathrooms were given a fresh coat of Apex Ultima waterproof exterior emulsion on the upper walls above the tile line, in light coordinating shades.
Preparation work was thorough — all walls were scrapped to remove old flaking paint, cracks were filled with wall putty, a coat of primer was applied, followed by two coats of putty, another primer coat, and finally two finish coats. This five-step process ensures a flawless, long-lasting finish.
Ceilings throughout received fresh Apex ceiling white paint. All woodwork including door frames and window frames was sanded and given two coats of enamel in off-white.
The complete painting project covering approximately 3200 square feet of wall area was finished in 14 days with a dedicated team of 4 painters and 2 helpers.
